AR Finance — the internal finance application of Artist Results, LLC
Last updated August 24, 2026 · Artist Results, LLC · Jacksonville, Florida, USA
1. Summary
AR Finance is an internal tool with no public users. Only members of Artist Results, LLC with an @artistresults.com account can sign in. It reads Artist Results’ own business records out of Stripe and QuickBooks so the company can measure its revenue and keep its books accurate.
We do not sell data. We do not share it for advertising. We do not use it to train machine-learning models. There is no tracking, advertising or analytics technology in the Application.
2. Who this policy is about
Two different groups of people appear in the Application, and they are treated differently:
- Users — the small number of Artist Results personnel who sign in. Today that is three people.
- Artist Results’ own subscribers — the musicians who pay for an Artist Results plan. They never sign in to this Application, but their billing records appear inside it because it reads the company’s Stripe account. In respect of that data, Artist Results is the controller, and the Application is simply one of the internal systems where the company views it.
3. What the Application holds
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| User identity | Name, email address and profile image from the Google account used to sign in, plus a role of administrator or viewer. Needed to authenticate you and to decide what you may do. |
| Session records | A signed session so you stay logged in. Deleted when the session expires or you sign out. |
| Subscriber billing records from Stripe | Customer name and email, subscription plan and price, coupons, invoices, charges (including failed ones), refunds and payouts. This is the raw material for every revenue figure the Application reports. |
| Accounting records from QuickBooks Online | Chart of accounts, transactions and balances, read so that reported revenue can be reconciled against the company books. Where enabled, approved journal entries are written back. |
| Derived figures | Monthly recurring revenue, recognised revenue, deferred revenue balances and cash received, computed from the above and stored so a month once closed can be reproduced exactly. |
| Audit log | Who made a manual adjustment, when, what changed and the stated reason. Kept so that a figure can always be explained. |
The Application never receives or stores full card numbers, bank account numbers or other payment credentials. Card data stays with Stripe. Where a charge is shown, it is shown by amount, date and status only.
4. How data reaches the Application
Data is read from Stripe and Intuit QuickBooks Online using credentials that an administrator authorises on behalf of Artist Results. The Stripe credential is a restricted key limited to read-only scopes. No data is bought from, or received from, any other source, and the Application collects nothing directly from members of the public.
Stripe additionally notifies the Application when something changes — a new subscription, a payment, a payout — so its copy stays current. These notifications are cryptographically verified before they are accepted.
5. Why we hold it (and what we never do with it)
The only purpose is Artist Results’ internal financial management: measuring subscription revenue, recognising it correctly across accounting periods, reconciling to the company’s books and bank, and preparing draft journal entries for a person to approve.
It is not used for marketing, profiling, automated decision-making about any individual, resale, or model training, and it is not combined with data from any unrelated source.
6. Who it is shared with
Data is not shared outside Artist Results, other than with the service providers that operate the Application on our behalf, and with the company’s accountants and auditors:
| Data | Why we hold it |
|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the Application. United States. |
| Supabase | Hosts the PostgreSQL database. United States (us-east-1). |
| Provides sign-in. Receives only the authentication request, not financial data. | |
| Stripe | Source of billing data, and the company’s payment processor. |
| Intuit | Provider of QuickBooks Online, the company’s accounting system. |
We may also disclose data where required by law, or to establish or defend a legal claim. We do not sell data, and we do not transfer it to advertisers or data brokers.
7. How it is protected
- Sign-in is restricted to the @artistresults.com Google Workspace domain, enforced both by Google and again by the Application.
- Administrator-only actions are re-checked on the server on every request; hiding a control is never treated as the security boundary.
- Access tokens for accounting systems are encrypted at rest with a key held only in the server environment.
- All traffic is served over HTTPS, and the database connection is encrypted.
- The Application is pinned to a single Stripe account and a single QuickBooks company, and refuses to run against any other.
- Manual adjustments are recorded in an audit log with the person, time, before-and-after values and reason.
- Credentials are held in the server environment only, are never committed to source control, and are rotated when exposure is suspected.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If we discover a breach affecting personal data we will act promptly to contain it and notify those affected where the law requires.
8. How long it is kept
Financial records are retained for as long as Artist Results is required to keep its books and supporting records, and in any event for at least seven years, consistent with United States tax record-keeping requirements. Once a month is closed, its figures are deliberately preserved so the books can be reproduced.
User accounts and sessions are removed when a person’s access ends. Audit log entries are retained with the financial records they explain.
9. Your choices and rights
Users may ask us what the Application holds about them and ask for it to be corrected. Access can be revoked at any time on request.
Artist Results subscribers whose billing records appear in the Application may ask about, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting us at the address below, and those requests are handled under Artist Results’ main privacy policy at artistresults.com. Some data must be retained where the law requires records of a completed financial transaction to be kept.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data. We will honour those rights where they apply.
10. Disconnecting a connected account
An administrator may disconnect the Application from QuickBooks Online at any time, from within the Application or from the Intuit account itself. Disconnecting immediately revokes and deletes the stored access tokens. Accounting data already reconciled remains part of Artist Results’ financial records.
11. Children
The Application is a workplace tool. It is not directed at children, and no one under 18 is authorised to use it.
12. International users
The Application and its data are hosted in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand that the data is processed in the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The revised version takes effect when published at this URL, and the “last updated” date above will change.
